About us

Williams Round Limited was founded by Joanna Williams (née Round) in 2006.

Based just outside Shrewsbury in Shropshire, our small team of Chartered Surveyors have a wide range of experience across the industry.

We are regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and members of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers.

Joanna Williams

Director & Chartered Surveyor

Growing up on a smallholding in south Shropshire, Jo went on to gain her Honours degree in Agriculture specialising in Environmental Science at Nottingham University. She then completed a Masters in Rural Enterprise and Land Management at Harper Adams. She later qualified as a Rural Chartered Surveyor and Agricultural Valuer.

Jo specialises in rural land and property advice for both in hand and let land sales of farm, land and equestrian properties. Jo has a wealth of experience in agricultural landlord and tenant law and advises a wide range of clients on all aspects of land and property management. She advises on day-to-day farming practices, alongside rural grants and payments including Sustainable Farming Incentive, Countryside Stewardship and farm productivity grants.

Her passion is sustainable land management protecting assets for future generations. 

Jo can be found cheering on the rugby sidelines when not acting as head groom!

Victoria Pocock

Consultant Surveyor

Victoria grew up in the north Shropshire countryside on a smallholding. Having graduated from Harper Adams in 2007, Victoria went on to complete a Post-graduate Diploma in Surveying at the College of Estate Management whilst working for a national firm of Chartered Surveyors. Alongside the diploma, she qualified as a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2010 and joined Williams Round a few years later.  

She now works as a consultant and carries out a wide range of work particularly rural property sales and estate management whilst juggling her three boys!

Emily Hamlett

Chartered Surveyor

Emily comes from a farming background having grown up on a small holding in south Shropshire, from there she went to Harper Adams undertaking a degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management, and subsequently qualified as a Rural Chartered Surveyor with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2016. 

Emily joined Williams Round in April 2024 and will head up the new agency department.  She lives on a farm in north Shropshire and enjoys all parts of rural professional work when not standing in gateways herding animals or children!
